As an established part of the communities in both Goole and Pontefract the firm is committed to supporting the local area.

The Heptonstalls Social Committee

The social committee was established in September 2016 to provide Heptonstalls with the opportunity to maximise the many charitable initiatives that colleagues arrange throughout the year, as well as unifying efforts by the firm to raise money for local and national causes.

Judges and winners of the “Great Heptonstalls Bake-Off” which raised more than £270 for the firm’s newly nominated charity of the year, the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract.

The Prince of Wales Hospice cares for and supports patients with life-limiting illness and their families.

We offer round the clock care to nearly 1,000 people from the ‘Five Towns’ community each year.

We don’t just treat patients with cancer. We care for patients with a wide range of life-limiting illnesses with the majority of our patients returning home after their symptoms have been managed.

Heptonstalls appointed The Prince of Wales Hospice as its charity of the year in Pontefract for 2016/17.

The Goole Go Far – Nominated Charity in Goole

The Goole GoFar is a Transport Charity and Social Enterprise that provides accessible transport for the people of Goole and the surrounding areas who are vulnerable, isolated and socially excluded.

Their service is unique as it helps to reduce the barriers to transport (rurality, accessibility and affordability) therefore reducing isolation.

Heptonstalls appointed The Goole GoFar as its charity of the year in Goole for 2016/17.
