One of Yorkshire’s most established firms of solicitors has supported a member of staff to qualify as a new solicitor.
Goole-based Heptonstalls Solicitors has welcomed Amy Firth as a fully qualified solicitor, after she successfully completed an 18 month training contract with the firm.
Amy, who originally started as a paralegal for the firm in 2014, has been admitted as a solicitor by the Law Society and will practice in the firm’s medical negligence department.
Heptonstalls has a long history of working on complex medical negligence cases and Amy now joins the ranks of the already eight-strong team of solicitors in this specialist area.
“I am really grateful to Heptonstalls Ltd, to have been given the opportunity to qualify as a solicitor, and for the support and guidance I have received throughout my time with the firm so far. I am looking forward to continuing to develop within the department, alongside such an experienced team.”
Sarah Johnson, director and head of medical negligence at Heptonstalls, said:
“To see Amy progress and develop her role into a fully qualified solicitor is fantastic. She has been incredibly dedicated to the firm for almost five years so to be able to help her achieve her ambition is something that we felt was incredibly important.”
